Concert: Mpls. Yiddish Vinkl and the Twin Cities Yiddish Fest proudly present Amy Olson in a Concert of Yiddish Theater and Yiddish Folk Song renditions. Come prepared to enjoy our mameloshen presented with Show Biz Pizazz, a Bissel Broadway, and a Lot of Heart. Olson was the vocalist with the local Prairie Heym Klezmorim and reunites here with former bandmate and pianist Allen Levine. In the Yiddish production of Mayn Tayere Meydl (My Fair Lady) she played the starring role of Esther Tutvenik. She has been a featured guest artist with the International Association of Yiddish Clubs. She currently resides in Rhode Island and is looking forward to reconnecting with friends from her days here as an entertainer and as former director of Hillel at the University of Minnesota.
